On Location with Abby from Levers Living
Working with my clients to discover their own unique personal brand story is such a joyful and satisfying experience for me as I am a natural detective at heart and there is nothing more rewarding than going on a successful journey together. Asking lots of questions and unlocking different facets of a personal brand is fascinating as we investigate all the little individual nuances bringing life and light into being… and working with Abby Lever of Levers Living was no exception!
Abby had approached me directly via Instagram for a tailor-made personal brand photoshoot and after an initial consultation at a well-known coffee shop in Chester, we quickly moved to organise a date in the diary for her photoshoot to take place. As a dynamic, commercially-minded entrepreneur, Abby had wanted to showcase her professional expertise as a talented property developer throughout her images but also a side of her that was funny, approachable and willing to work incredibly hard to achieve her goals in life. One aspect of Abby’s personality that I focused on too, was her family-oriented kindness and supportive nature which really shone.
As a part-time working paediatric nurse, Abby was also incredibly proud and open to share how she and her husband Alex had built an impressive portfolio of property throughout the North West and North Wales that they had gone on to develop, furnish and let. With a forward-thinking entrepreneurial husband and two small children to also care for, (and in the middle of a house move) Abby didn’t hesitate in stepping up to join him in building their dream business together.
During our initial exploratory phase of identifying and defining her brand values it became clear that one of Abby’s driving forces was the burning desire to build a secure, comfortable future for her family but also, to give back and to share her success with others. It was so important to capture the essence of her generous, philanthropic and caring nature but always with a sense of ambition and confident professionalism. And taking a sneaky peek at these initial images, I think we managed it beautifully don’t you?
The venue I chose for Abby’s photoshoot was the magnificent Carden Park Hotel, Spa and Golf Club in Cheshire as I knew that I could rely on the high-end interior design and the warm, welcoming ambiance. There are also plenty of different areas and scenarios to shoot in, all with beautiful, soft natural light and stunning backgrounds. We chose the Conservatory in the early morning and moved into the newly installed cocktail lounge later on as the light moved across the hotel, finishing up at the award-winning Spa which I have to say is glorious!

As you can see, the colour combinations and sense of high-quality style fits beautifully with the Levers Living brand colours of white, gold and black plus the new addition of an accent colour, teal, that was chosen by Abby and that will be used throughout her online brand and marketing strategy going forward. Our initial Personal Brand Clarity session really unlocked all the little details, the values that Abby lived by and the aspects of her personality that helped to shape the design and colour palette for her photoshoot. That initial piece of introspective hard work, really built the foundations for the Levers Living brand and I am positive it will stand her business in good stead in the future. She now has a beautiful image library of over 120 styled and professional photographs that authentically show her in the very best possible light, doing what she does best to captivate her online audience and attract more investment into her business.
Abby is a fabulous role model not only for her children but for other soulful women who believe that they can have everything they want as long as they are prepared to work for it - and pay it forward so everyone can delight in the positivity of success. It was an absolute pleasure to meet such a dynamic, hardworking woman create such a stunning library of confident images that capture Abby in her professional role as owner and entrepreneurial property developer at Levers Living and I’m looking forward to completing the second part of the shoot in the City of Chester with husband Alex in January 2022.
